Amanda comes from a background of dance and fitness. As a child she took ballet, tap, and jazz classes. As an adult she explored many different types of fitness including running obstacle course marathons, power lifting, bodybuilding, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, pole dancing, and worked as a bootcamp instructor.

Amandas love of aerial arts started when she saw her first Cirque Du Sole show in Vegas.  When an aerial studio opened near her home in Houston Texas, she instantly signed up for classes. From that point on she was hooked. Silks are her favorite followed by Lyra, and Sling. She has also dabbled in specalty apparatuses like Spiral, Tippy Lyra, and Lollipop Lyra. Amanda moved quickly from a student to aiding in classes, and finally to teaching classes of her own.

Amanda has performed at various showcases, and enjoys putting together acts, and characters. She is known for her musicality, drama, and flair. She is determined to continue learning and teaching others. Amanda moved to the Portland area in the summer of 2024. She quickly found her place teaching at Afterglow. She hopes to find more opportunities to perform in Portland, and surrounding areas. Amanda believes that aerial can be for anyone no matter your experience or background.
