PORTLAND, Ore. — Claire Pennington, 25, rehearses her routine over, and over, and over again at Afterglow Aerial Arts in Northeast Portland.
“I’m nervous, but I’m also excited. I’ve been practicing so long for this,” she said.
She’s not training for a recital, but for a one-of-a-kind competition called Aerialympics.
“There isn’t anything to compare it to,” said 30-year-old Shay Williams, who created Aerialympics six years ago at her studio in Utah. (link to full article below)
