Learn a new lyra combo of two to four connected moves every week! This class will help beginner and level one lyra students develop skills for building aerial acts. Combos serve as a base for building choreography. Class will begin with floor-based movement exercises to warm up, followed by a lyra combo, and ending with twenty minutes of practice time. Students have the option of putting the combos together as we add new ones weekly to create a longer routine, either stationary or with a spin! Drop ins welcome!
Pre-reqs: Best suited for students who have taken at least one series of beginner level lyra. Students must feel confident in mounting via pullover, pike, straddle, and vine climb, as well as double knee hang on the bottom and top of the hoop. Variations of moves in each combo will be given for all levels.

Note:
We strongly recommend students to take two classes per series. This will help you get stronger, more flexible, and more effectively reach your aerial and fitness goals.
Side note: Coaches may have substitute teachers for their classes.
