Lyra 2 is an intermediate class.
Aerial hoop (aka lyra) is a circular apparatus suspended from a single point. (We do have double point). This class will focus on becoming comfortable in the lyra, building strength, and increasing flexibility and stamina. Learn various mounts, inversions, tricks, conditioning and sequences.
Pre-reqs: Must have taken Lyra 1 or able to do the following: Pike under the bar, straddle up comfortably w/o help, pull-over, long hang beat, be comfortable in single knee hang, be able to stay in the air at least 2 minutes. Be working on meathooks.
Drop in classes: Email studio for availability! (If email confirmation is not sent before sending payment, class is not guaranteed).
Note:
We strongly recommend students to take two classes per series. This will help you get stronger, more flexible, and more effectively reach your aerial and fitness goals.
Side note: Coaches may have substitute teachers for their classes.
